Ben

Ben is a purebred, AKC registered Bernese Mountain Dog.  He is fun loving and happy.  He is 100 pounds of fun.  He loves kids.  He also loves animals of any kind.  He enjoys taking walks and playing with the family.  He is obedient and joyful.  He is also noble and handsome - normally weighing in at about 110 pounds.

Our goal in creating this page is to introduce you to each of the parents as best we can - until you are able to come out and meet them face to face.  This page will be constantly changing as we add new video clips of everyone.  If you don’t see a particular dog, that doesn’t mean that they are no longer here.  It only means that they do not have a litter coming up in the near future. 

We think the photos of the parents are beautiful - and represent their personalities as much as possible.  We have tried to include photos which are a good representation of the puppies that each of the moms has had.  We are currently “in production” on the video clips.  Look for more in the days and weeks to come.

Polly

Polly is a purebred, AKC registered black Labrador Retriever.  She is one of our most photogenic dogs.  There are two reasons why that is so.  First of all, because she is just so beautiful.  Secondly, because she just seems to have a way of gazing at people that is so engaging!  She is the quieter, more laid back of “the twins.”  She is lots of fun to be with, whether it’s going for a long walk or just sitting under a shady tree and hanging out together.  She LOVES to play ball.  She is going to be a fantastic mom!  She is normally about 75 to 80 pounds.

Mae

Mae is a purebred Bernese Mountain Dog.  She is registered with the AKC.  Mae likes to keep her figure at a stunning 80 pounds.  She is quiet and a bit more on the serious side than most of our dogs.  She is a deep thinker - very philosophical!  Although she is quiet, she is very friendly with both old friends and new acquaintances.  She loves to put her head in your lap and just hang out.  She is beautiful and charming.  She is a great mother - very attentive to her puppies.

Penny

Penelope (Penny) is the child of Darcy and Ben.    She is 3/4 Bernese Mountain Dog and 1/4 Great Pyrenees.  Her puppies are 7/8 Bernese Mountain Dog and 1/8 Great Pyrenees. 

Penny is very much like Darcy is both size and personality.  She  averages about 85 to 90 pounds - just about like Darcy.  She is lovable and playful at the same time.  She loves children.  She can be a bit strong-willed at times, but we value that sense of independence.  She is an explorer.  She loves to walk around and see what she can find.  She has a full, thick coat of gorgeous hair.  We just love her!

This will be Penny’s first litter of puppies.  Her puppies will have the same three possible looks that her mom’s (Darcy’s) puppies have.  They will look very much like the puppies shown here...

Minnie

Minnie is a purebred Bernese Mountain Dog.  She is registered with the AKC.  Her parents are Saidie and Hoss. 

Minnie is sweet.  That is an overused word on this page, but it is the word that seems most appropriate for most of our dogs.  She is a perfect Berner.  She is not too big, nor is she overly small.  She is more on the quiet side than some of our dogs, but she is not shy.  She interacts will with other dogs as well as with people - especially children.  She has a beautiful, shiny coat - and lovely markings.  Her puppies will be beautiful.  Her average weight is about 75 to 80 pounds. 

This will be Minnie’s first litter of puppies.  Her puppies will have the same three possible looks that her mom’s (Saidie’s) puppies have.  The top middle photo below is Minnie when she was a pup.  Her puppies will look very much like the puppies shown here...

Willoughby

Willoughby is a purebred, AKC registered Bernese Mountain Dog.  He is just the greatest guy!  He is fun and smart, as well as strikingly handsome.  He loves to romp in the snow.  He is one of the friendliest Berners we have ever met.  He is happy to play with anyone.  He is also happy to cuddle on the floor and watch television if that is what you want to do.  He is both a ton of fun and sweet at the same time.  He is currently about 80 pounds, but we think he still has some growing to do before he has his first litter of puppies. 

Darcy is a hybrid - half Bernese Mountain Dog, and half Great Pyrenees.  Both of her parents were purebreds.  She is registered with the American Canine Hybrid Club.  She is gentle and relaxed.  She is friendly and very affectionate.  She is a thoughtful dog, but not at all introverted.  She is beautiful and sweet.  She is an amazing mother to her puppies.  We love having her around.  She is a fantastic companion.  She is loyal, happy, and lovable.  Darcy’s typical weight is about 95 pounds.

Darcy

Darcy’s puppies come in three different types.  She has some that are brown and white like their mother.  She has some that are black and white and have almost a husky look to them.  She has some that are nearly indistinguishable from purebred Bernese Mountain Dogs.  Within one litter, she can have all three different types.  Here are a few pictures...
